Creative News at GCDS

A new year, a new resolution! What can we expect this year? Hopefully not the movie 2012... We have started off with a bang this year - first week back and already a few enquiries! Hohoho, Santa is giving us prospects for our Xmas presents! We are also now delivering some downloadable nifty things - just because it's cool and we're cool. Our first one is our New Years Wallpaper - available to download here. Follow us on any of our social media sites to keep informed for new items as they come!

Well the GCDS team has certainly been very very busy in the last couple of months with new clients wanting to get their website up before Christmas - that we hadn't had a chance to fully update our news, so here is a massive update!

It looks like the big Christmas Rush not only applies to retail stores but the web design business too… and you would be right to get a website up by the holidays. The best time for online shops to promote themselves (or just stores with a website) is just before big peak seasons when people will be buying presents or vouchers for their loved ones. And one of the big universal contributor to sales, is Christmas and it is coming quick!

Go Camping Nerang and Cupcake Addiction are some of our new sites that we have launched in preparation for the festive season. Check them out and get some nice presents for the stockings or holiday get-togethers.

Now another big thing coming up that would help boost sales (primarily for the romance oriented shops) is.. that's right, Valentine's Day! And if you check out our portfolio, you will notice Murray Harvy there, with our revamped design of their website (coming soon). We also are proud to announce that Diamond Boulevard will also have their website designed by us, both preparing for the Valentine's Day rush next February! Birkbeck's Jewellers are live now and prepared for the rush.

On top of that, not only do we have new websites, we also have new presents from our awesome clients! Go Camping, Cupcake Addiction, GC Gift Baskets and Hampers are just a few of our clients who have indulged us in wonderful sweets and presents. We would just like to thank you all to those who have remained with us over the years and continued your support, as well as our other clients who are just new to the GCDS family! It looks like it's going to be a marvellous holiday!

Speaking of holidays, we will be out of the office from Next Monday (26th December 2011) and return on the following Tuesday the week after (3rd January 2012). For now that is all, we will try and keep you posted more often (we didn't run away, promise!).

We would like to announce that Go Camping Nerang have decided to engage Gold Coast Design Studio with the new branding of their website! GCDS are on the verge of revamping the current website and currently in the process of getting them involved in the social media world. Check out their Facebook page and don't forget to LIKE it too!
